How It Works

Year One — The Pilot. Your university provides the space. You hire and supervise 16 student ambassadors per semester, each working 10 hours a week. A sponsoring bank partner reimburses those wages — so the ambassador program costs your university nothing out of pocket in Year One.

Year Two and Beyond. As the Center proves itself, your university receives ongoing reimbursement for the ambassador program plus additional funding to support the space’s continued use and maintenance.

Who Does What

Your University Provides: a physical space on campus (an existing room or suite works), and hiring and HR oversight of the student ambassador team.

Uthrive Campus Provides: the coaching curriculum and ambassador training, onboarding and ongoing program support with a launch toolkit, and outcomes tracking so you can report impact to your leadership.

The Bank Partner Provides (Year One): funding that reimburses your ambassador wages, and continued support into Year Two as the program scales.

The Student Ambassador Program. Sixteen students per semester, each working 10 hours a week, hired and paid by your university (estimated at $20/hour) and reimbursed by our bank partner in Year One. Ambassadors are trained on the Uthrive curriculum and staff the Center — running walk-in coaching sessions, workshops, and peer-to-peer financial guidance.

Who’s the bank partner? We’re finalizing our first sponsor now and will confirm details as agreements are signed.

How long does it take to launch? We’ll build a launch timeline together based on your academic calendar and space readiness — most Founding Partner Centers can open within one to two semesters of signing.
